On of my best decision to take out 40 wings and watch hockey at my home with my friends. It was non-expensive "decision", good food and quick service, authentic place, love it!
They have great deals. The food taste good the services is great and the ambience is perfect for a bar.
I visited on a Saturday with two friends and was seated immediately. Our server was friendly, attentive, and efficient. The food arrived promptly, and the sweet potato fries were, as always, delicious. It had been a long time since my last visit, but returning brought back fond memories of hanging out with friends here. The Moscow Mule Blueberry drink was tasty, and while my chicken sandwich was a bit dry, I made the most of it. Overall, the experience was enjoyable, and the service was great. The ambiance remained unchanged, maintaining its cozy pub-like atmosphere - so dark that it took a moment for my eyes to adjust to the sunlight when I stepped outside! Minor quibbles aside, it was a pleasant visit.
Been to Croxleys a bunch of times over the years. The food is consistent but the service is not. On 4/2/24, we had Allison and she was great. She was honest, friendly and attentive. We shared medium wings (well done with a puddle), nachos with chili and a blackened chicken quesadilla. All items were served hot and staggered as requested. The wings were meaty and the quesadilla was well stuffed. For some reason the soda is always flat tasting, fyi. Food 4 stars Service 5 stars Ambience 4 stars (bar atmosphere)
Croxley's is a nice go-to when you're looking for good tap beers and a good old American food menu. Not a fancy place, but very quaint.
Love this place fun and lots of food choices. Of course the wings are the best. Friendly staff and relaxed atmosphere.
This is a great place to chill with friends over dinner and drinks and food music. We went last Saturday night and the place was busy, but the service was attentive and friendly. Traditional pub fare is done very well here. My habanero mango wings were not as spicy hot as I was hoping, but they were cooked to crispy perfection and extra Tabasco did the trick without taking away from the great flavor of the sauce. The Cajun waffle fries were crisp on the outside and fluffy on the inside. Hubby got fish and chips. He enjoyed the dish as a whole, but we were all a little surprised by the size of the fish. The three pieces of fish felt more like robust fish sticks vs nice size fillets we've had anywhere else, but they were delicious. Our friend had the huge plate of nachos and he loved them. The drink and beer selection here is massive and the prices, overall, were very good. I'm glad our friend suggested this place when we went down to visit him. We'll be back soon!
I have been here so many times either with my friends or with my wife. This is a family friendly place. The ambiance is great, they keep the place clean. A very good joint to hang out and have some beer, wings, burgers, etc. They have a huge selection of beers from seasonal, craft, rarities, dark, wheat, Pilsner, light, amber lager, fruit beer, cider and a lot more. The staff has always been great, wait time for any orders are acceptable, food prices has gone up a bit, beer prices are fair, food taste is awesome. This is the home of "cry like a baby chicken wings", I tried it once, it was so spicy that I can just finish one chicken wing and then the rest of the night I have to keep chugging a beer to take the spicy taste off, ha ha ha. I highly recommend the place, but hey, everybody's taste is different.
Stopped for late dinner. Good to see they still have an overwhelming and impressive beer list. Hubby had turkey burger with cheddar/bacon but thought it was a little dry. I had a burger made of short ribs with a layer of Mac & Cheese in place of a slice of cheese. And it was a substantial burger! Just awesome: moist, cheesy, and great comfort food. Sorry, forgot to take photos. (Hey, we were hungry) Typical boisterous crowd that can get loud when busy. Very attentive server.
